Artificial Radio Hour with Rev. Dr. Dr. Phill Part 16

Balls Pyramid. Crazy, right?
1982! Part 2!

I couldn't cut it down, so here's part 2 of 1982. This one actually has a hit pop song in it, see if you can spot it!

Nash the Slash
Some notes on this episode: Nash the Slash was a Canadian musician known for dressing like the Invisible Man and playing an electric violin. He was great.

Two songs on here are not from 1982, one is the theme to Bojack Horseman which is from a podcast and the other is a chiptune version of Stairway To Heaven that I put underneath a cut-up tape of two DJs talking (in 1982!) about the supposed "secret messages" in that song.
Rev. Susie the Floozie
I Feel Love is not from 82, but it's just a 4-second loop so I'm not counting it.

Steve Fisk is a musician and record producer from the Pacific Northwest who has worked with some great bands but I don't know anything about the track included here. It's pretty catchy, though. (It is originally acapella, I added the loop.)

Transformer Man is from my favorite Neil Young album, Trans.
The Wiggin sisters, late 60s
If you've never heard The Shaggs, just know that their 1982 album is a heck of a lot more polished than their earlier stuff, which sounds like they're all playing different songs. I'l probably put some Shaggs' older stuff in a future show. It's a lot of fun!

The Adventures of Ruby (which was originally broadcast in 1982) will return next week.
